Turquoise UFO did not start as a store.
It started as years of driving the Southwest with a camera, running small desert trips, and paying attention to land that most people only see at seventy miles an hour. I photograph. I guide when the season and the group are right. I listen when someone wants to talk about lights they cannot explain. I do not invent those talks, and I do not need them to be proof.
The name is geographic first. Turquoise is a desert mineral and a color the sky actually takes. UFO is a cultural signal, not a creed. The shop is the wearable layer of that same desk: designs from the catalog, printed to order, sitting beside the field work at TurquoiseUFO.net and the writing on this site.
Some pieces are funny. Some are quiet. None of them are a substitute for going outside.
